A 1957 MORRIS MINOR 1000 4door saloon. Runs and drives. Requires restoration. An early example finished in Dark Green with Light Grey leather interior. Pre seat belts. Pre flashing indicators. Fitted with performance carburettor and exhaust system. Recent new radiator and water pump, good tyres. Not bad bodywork on top. Four excellent doors. Rusty underneath. Was in regular use until recently. V5 present.

MORRIS MINOR 1000 TRAVELLER 1969. RUNS & DRIVES. FOR RESTORATION £1250.00. NOW SOLD.

Here we have a 1969 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller which is complete and running but requires restoration. We have got the car running and have driven it a few miles having insured and taxed it. Road tax is FREE and it is exempt from MOT testing. It had been stored in a garage for several years and is not being sold as fully roadworthy as we have not thoroughly checked or serviced the car. It is far too sound to dismantle for spares and deserves to live again! We have the latest type V5C registration document present.

The brakes have now been overhauled at a cost of around £600.00 and work well. A new master cylinder has been fitted along with all front and rear brake wheel cylinders, front flexible hoses and some of the metal pipes. The differential has been replaced and it now drives very quietly. The gearbox is also good. The woodwork is not great but holds together and wouldn’t prevent the car returning to the road. The bodywork is shabby on top but was in regular use in this condition and could be once more. The underside has not been patched up as much as most have and is not so extensively rusted as most offered for restoration. Some welding would be required to restore the car – mostly to the RH side sill and crossmember end where the jacking point is and some repairs to inner wings. It is in much better condition than one we are currently restoring for a customer! Three of the wings and the bottom of both front doors are clearly suffering from corrosion and the bodywork is generally scruffy.

Inside the car it has an odd colour driver’s seat but is generally all present and correct if a little worn. Unusually, the headlining is very good.

Beautiful Morris Minor 1000 Convertible in Old English White with red leather interior trim and red hood. A most popular combination. Built in 1957, this car was completely restored several years ago and has been well looked after and maintained since, regularly serviced and kept clean and garaged. It runs and drives very well and is for sale on behalf of one of our customers who finds that she doesn’t use it so much now. We have just fitted a new Lockheed brake master cylinder and checked the car over. It is tax and MOT exempt but we will happily submit the car for a new MOT if the new new owner wishes.

Morris Minor 1000 Convertible. 1968 “G” registration. A very attractive example. Regularly maintained by ourselves for several years on behalf of a customer, this car has provided reliable, regular fun transport on journeys long and short including trips to France and Southern Ireland.

The car is in good condition with just a few small marks around the paintwork as should be expected from an unrestored example. We are offering the car for sale on behalf of the owner due to storage issues and lack of recent use and will happily provide the next keeper with a full service and a new independant MOT carried out if desired. Morris Minor 1000 Traveller first registered 05 01 1970. Only 3 owners since new and 2 of them were father and daughter who purchased it in the 1970s and have just sold it to us. Total mileage of under 100,000, the car has been well maintained all its life and had a bodywork restoration by Charles Ware in the past which included an underside rebuild, complete new timber frame, new wings and a respray.

The car is in good condition and drives well with a responsive engine and quiet gearbox and differential. A full service has been carried out and the brakes overhauled including the fitting of a new master and slave cylinders all round, various brake hoses and pipes, suspension bushes and so on. A new water pump has also been fitted along with various new hoses etc. We have submitted the car for a new MOT for peace of mind – although it does not require one by law. The car now has 12months MOT until February 2026 with no advisories. It is also tax exempt of course.

The timber frame is very sound but was treated with an oil finish when replaced and this has been continued each year to preserve it. It does give it a rather dull, dark finish unfortunately.

Morris Minor 1000 Traveller. 1969. Smoke Grey. Known as ROG due to his distinctive registration number!

ROG has had only 4 owners since new and has only covered 72,600 miles in all that time. We have a very full history of service and repair bills, old MOTs and even the original logbook issued by Birmingham City Council when the car was new. We have sold ROG twice previously: Once in 1999 and again in 2012. Always garaged and looked after, ROG has returned to us for re-sale as he is not getting out and about as much as he’d like and he needs more exercise. ROG is a real pleasure to drive due to the low mileage and careful maintenance. An unleaded cylinder head has been fitted and a stainless steel exhaust system but the car remains pretty much as the manufacturers intended.

Just arrived and awaiting a clean and preparation, we will list better photos once we’ve had a chance to look him over more thoroughly. ROG has never been restored and is in good original condition with a particularly good interior reflecting light use. Could be used just as is or improved as time and money allow. MORRIS MINOR 1000 SALOON 1968 £5850.00. NOW SOLD.

MORRIS MINOR 1000 2 door deluxe saloon in Snowberry White with black interior as original. First registered on 5th December 1968. We purchased this car recently from a family in London who had owned it since the 1990s when they purchased it from an Oxfordshire Vicar and became its 4th owner. Apparently the car is known as Phoebe due to the registration number! We have a large file of historical paperwork, service and repair invoices and MOT certificates with the car showing that it has been well looked after and regularly serviced. The mileage now stands at 91,300 miles.

The car has not ever been “restored” to our knowledge but kept in good condition as the photos show. It is not perfect or unmarked but is a very smart example in very sound condition having been regularly treated with waxoyl to protect the underneath. The paintwork is in good order and the chromework is particularly bright and undamaged.

The Morris drives well, with no issues and is exempt from road tax and MOT although we are happy to submit the car for an MOT test and provide 12 months MOT for a new owner.

Offered for sale on behalf of the owner. This 1968 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller has been off the road for some years in storage. During those years it has been gradually taken carefully to pieces, largely restored and rebuilt by the owner who is a retired garage owner. Any work required to the vehicle structure has been attended to. All body panels have been removed, repaired or replaced and then resprayed in Old English White. An all new timber framework was fitted and all new interior trim too. The repainted car was finished off with almost a full set of new chromed brightwork. The mechanical side was not overlooked and everything which required attention has been restored or replaced. A great deal of money has been spent on the restoration which has produced a very smart useable car which should give many many years of pleasure and good service. Although MOT exempt, the car has undergone a recent MOT test.

1960 MORRIS MINOR 1000 4DOOR DELUXE SALOON. Beautiful Clipper Blue with blue leather seat facings. A very good example from perhaps the best period of Morris Minor production. This car has recently undergone a comprehensive structural rebuild at great expense to ensure many years of future life. At the same time, the braking system has been completely overhauled with the fitting of a new master cylinder, all new wheel cylinders, flexible hoses etc. The front brakes were upgraded with the larger front brakes from a later model. The suspension and steering were dismantled and new pins and polyurethane bushes fitted front and rear. The gearbox was replaced with a period correct “smooth case” unit. A new water pump, coolant and heater hoses have also been fitted and the car has been fully serviced. A stainless steel exhaust is fitted. The car has not been fully restored and is largely original and standard although front seatbelts and flashing indicators have been fitted. It has clearly been looked after during its 62year life and retains the original Wiltshire registration number and original owners handbook. Inside and out, the car is very smart and presentable without being unmarked or immaculate. It wouldn’t look out of place at a classic car event but you won’t be frightened to use and enjoy it.
