MORRIS MINOR 1000 TRAVELLER 1962. Old English White. A very original car which has been stored off the road for a few years. Runs and drives but brakes need attention and some welding and bodywork is required so the car is being offered as a restoration project. Lots of potential. Original valuable registration number with V5 document included. 5 very good tyres. Please telephone or email for further information.
1955 MORRIS MINOR SERIES 11 (SPLIT WINDSCREEN) TRAVELLER. A very rare model now. This car is offered as a project requiring some work and re-commissioning. It is in fairly good and fairly original condition. Still has the correct engine, gearbox, seats, road wheels and steering wheel, windscreen trims, semaphore indicators etc. We have not examined the car in great detail. It has just arrived with us. The car last changed hands 3 years ago and was in good condition. Sadly the owner has had too many other projects and the Traveller has stood around not being used. It started and drove onto our trailer but I wouldn’t describe it as roadworthy. A good checkover, fresh fuel and a service will be required at the very least. The underbody appears to be in good condition, the woodwork is original and fairly sound and the bodywork shows no serious signs of rust anywhere. All four wings look to be recent steel replacements. Doors open and shut well. We have the current V5C registration document and the keys but little other history. We assume the registration number to be original as this series (PXH) was issued in the London area from December 1954. Enquiries and viewings are welcomed. THIS CAR IS NOW SOLD.
MORRIS MINOR 1000 CONVERTIBLE 1967. Old English White with red and beige duotone interior. Re-trimmed at great expense. New hood in red at the same time. This is a genuine factory built original Convertible and not a converted saloon. It was restored in the past by Charles Ware’s Morris Minor Centre and has been used and enjoyed regularly since, so is not a freshly restored “immaculate” example. It is not £12,000 either. This Minor 1000 is a very bright and presentable car, much admired, well maintained and MOT’d every year since – despite this no longer being a legal requirement. The car has recently been serviced and has had the brakes, suspension and cooling system overhauled since the last MOT. A new petrol pump has been fitted. Equipped with Bridgestone tyres all round and a stainless steel exhaust. We purchased the car recently to use for a wedding. It was a local car, in the same ownership for some years. It is now offered for sale again at the competitive price of £6,950.00
